In a significant move to enhance the mental health services available to veterans, we are pleased to announce a new partnership with Illinois Veterans’ Homes at Anna and Manteno, two long-term care facilities dedicated to serving military veterans.
This collaboration marks a critical step in addressing the unique mental health challenges faced by the veteran community. Under this new partnership, Bespoke Psychiatry will provide on-site psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing mental health support to residents of these veteran homes. The initiative will increase access to high-quality mental health care in a familiar and supportive environment.
“It has been a privilege to work alongside the team at the Illinois Veterans’ Homes over the past year in preparation for this meaningful partnership,” notes Megan Marker, Vice President of Partner Services. “The collaboration has been thoughtful and productive, and we are excited to announce formally our partnership. Bespoke Psychiatry is honored to join a team of dedicated and compassionate professionals who serve and support the well-being of the veterans residing in the Illinois Veterans’ Homes.”
The services provided will include:
· Regular, in-person visits from a psychiatric provider
· Psychiatric evaluations and diagnosis
· Medication management and review
· Coordination of care between facility staff and psychiatric providers
· On-call support
Leaders from both organizations believe the partnership will not only improve individual outcomes but also foster a greater sense of stability and wellness within the community.
“The Illinois Veterans’ Homes have always been committed to the holistic well-being of our residents,” said Angela Simmons, Senior Home Administrator. “By bringing psychiatric services on-site through this partnership, we’re taking an important step in addressing the mental health needs of our veterans with compassion and consistency.”
The partnership reflects a growing trend in integrated care, where physical and mental health services are closely aligned to provide more effective, comprehensive support to patients—especially in long-term care settings.
This partnership reaffirms their shared commitment to honoring those who have served.
