Erum Shah, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a strong foundation in behavioral medicine and neurodevelopmental care. A Midwest native, she grew up in Michigan and completed her Physician Assistant training at Case Western Reserve University. Prior to becoming a PA, Erum worked as a behavioral technician, where she gained hands-on experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs. This early experience shaped her commitment to patient advocacy, therapeutic relationships, and individualized care.
With experience treating a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, mood disorders, and neurodevelopmental concerns, Erum takes a thoughtful, evidence-based, and patient-centered approach to care. She emphasizes the importance of understanding each patient’s unique experiences, environment, and goals, recognizing that effective treatment extends beyond symptom management. Erum is dedicated to fostering a collaborative and supportive space where patients feel heard and empowered, and she is passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health. She is proud to offer care in English, Spanish, Hindi, and Urdu, fostering a more inclusive, culturally attuned experience for a diverse range of patients.
