Devika Morrison, PMHNP

Devika Morrison is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Illinois, originally from Jamaica. She began her nursing career at the University of Technology in Kingston and later earned her master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Walden University. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

With a diverse background as a Registered Nurse in emergency, medical-surgical, and psychiatric settings, Devika also served as an Assistant Nurse Manager in psychiatric departments. Her clinical strengths include motivational interviewing, therapeutic relationship building, interdisciplinary collaboration, and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. In her current role, she is committed to expanding access to holistic mental health services and reducing stigma through education and advocacy.

Outside of work, Devika enjoys going to the gym, cooking, and exploring different cuisines. She treasures time with her husband and young daughter, finding joy in watching her daughter grow and explore the world.
