Michal Fyda was born and raised in Poland, into a family with deep roots in the medical field. He graduated from a high school with an expanded Spanish curriculum under the patronage of the Spanish Embassy in Poland. He earned his Nursing degree from Polonia University, the only institution offering the program in English in Poland. He later obtained his first master’s degree in Family Counseling and Mediation from The Pontifical University in Krakow.
Michal began his nursing career in the United Kingdom, specializing in long-term care within behavioral health settings. He then moved to the United States, initially in New York City area, before settling in Florida. He has extensive experience in mental health, including roles in substance use treatment centers, correctional facilities, and as a charge nurse on an acute psychiatric unit.
Passionate about mental health, he earned his second master’s degree in Nursing getting the PMHNP certification from Walden University, and is licensed in Florida and Illinois. He is now pursuing his Doctorate in Nursing to further enhance his knowledge. He is dedicated to providing compassionate care and advocacy for individuals affected by mental health issues, combining clinical expertise with genuine empathy.
Outside of work, he is an avid traveler with a passion for exploring new cultures. His favorite destinations include Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. He particularly enjoys Asian cuisine and seeks out authentic dishes wherever he travels. He stays active and values moments shared with his family, which includes not only humans but also a cherished trio of cats.
