George Jensen is a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. Originally from Michigan, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor and later pursued a career in healthcare, earning both his BSN and MSN from Chamberlain University.
Before becoming a nurse, George worked as a home caregiver, a hospital nurse assistant, and an inpatient behavioral health technician. As a registered nurse, he gained experience in intensive care units, as well as in outpatient bariatric medicine. As a nurse practitioner, his primary clinical interest centers on the relationship between sleep health and psychiatric wellness. He has a strong focus on prevention, quality of life, longevity, and helping patients achieve sustainable health goals.George values building strong, collaborative relationships with his patients, believing that trust and empathy are essential to effective care. He approaches individuals holistically and is especially passionate about supporting those whose mental health needs have been overlooked or misunderstood.
Outside of work, he enjoys CrossFit and hiking with his wife, a physical therapist. They live with their two cats and share a love of horror movies and board games. He’s a loyal fan of the Detroit Pistons and University of Michigan Wolverines. Always eager to practice his Spanish, he hopes to travel more in the years ahead.
