Glenn Agape Montero, known as Agape, is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in St. Louis, Missouri. Originally from Quezon City, Philippines, she moved to the United States at a young age and spent most of her life in the Chicago area in Illinois. Agape obtained her Undergraduate nursing degree from Northern Illinois University and her Master of Nursing degree from The Ohio State University. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at The Ohio State University. Before becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Agape worked as a registered nurse in various settings, including inpatient pediatric behavioral health, substance abuse clinics, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics. She has received recognition for her dedication to psychiatric and mental health nursing, such as the Nancy M. Valentine Award for Aspiring Leaders. Agape’s goals are to complete her DNP degree and become a valuable asset to her organization in leadership, clinical practice, and education. She possesses excellent communication skills, patience, compassion, empathy, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Agape specializes in working with individuals of all ages, addressing common psychiatric issues, setting goals with patients, and medication knowledge. In her leisure time, she enjoys arts and crafts, drawing, playing video games, and spending time with her fiancĂ© and pets. Agape also has a small business that sells hair accessories and stationery inspired by popular video game and pop culture designs. She has a passion for traveling and gaining life experiences.
