Victoria Strickland, DNP, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner with a deep passion for supporting individuals through their mental health journeys. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Biological Sciences from North Carolina State University, Victoria pursued a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Seattle University, specializing in psychiatric and mental health care. Her diverse nursing background includes experiences in both inpatient and residential psychiatric settings with a dedication to serving vulnerable populations, most recently serving in a community health PMHNP role before relocating to the Midwest to receive post-doctoral psychiatry training at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
With extensive experience in treating a range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma and stress-related disorders, substance use disorders, and psychosis, Victoria utilizes a compassionate and individualized approach to care. She values the importance of building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship with each patient where their voice can be heard and respected. By integrating evidence-based practices with personalized care, Victoria strives to empower patients to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys hiking, cooking, crafting, and spending quality time with her family and their two beloved cats.
